I have attached the current message that is being shown on my sims game. Just looking for a different answer that may work. I have deleted and redownloaded, cleared the cache, repaired the sims 4 & the EA app etc. I've spoken to people over the phone and online at EA and everything they have suggested hasn't worked. When I copied the game into a new save and opened it, all the packs were gone and it was only the base game features and items available even though I had purcase 15+ packs. The game had all the pack icons underneath it saying they were required in order to play the saved game (because of the content within the game). To try restart the download I uninstalled the EA app & the sims 4 game itself and redownloaded both.Īfter doing this, when I launched the sims 4 app through EA, the message 'restart required' popped up along with the game I had been using for over a year. I was directed here after spending an hour and a half on the phone to EA support and still couldn't find a solution to the problem.īasically, I purchased a couple of new packs in January and they wouldn't download in sims play but they were downloaded in the EA app and were shown as purchased.
